How these numbers are counted
Crawlers that claim to be GPTBot, PerplexityBot, Google's AI fetchers or Applebot are checked against the IP ranges their operators publish. Requests from outside those ranges are spoofed and never counted.
The same caller repeating the same request within an hour counts once. Callers are identified by a salted hash of their IP that changes daily; IP addresses are never stored.
Query text, results and visitor data are never shown. Sites that handle personal data publish totals only.
